My trip to México City was a joke between my friend and I that started last year when I sent him a picture of a Luis Barragan house and said TAKE ME! This year, on spontaneous whim, we found a cheap flight and booked it. Continue reading “MÉXICO CITY”
It is the third day of the new year and I have finally put together my favorite moments of 2016. I have become such a procrastinator since I got back from Europe. I am not going to lie, I am a bit depressed being back in Texas. It just isn’t the same here, there is no excitement. There is nothing interesting to look at or discover. But I am happy to be reunited with family and friends and I am looking forward to getting back to studio this semester. I am already planning possible trips for the summer! Anyways, back to my favorite moments… Continue reading “2016: FAVORITE MOMENTS”
The last town our study center took us to was Orvieto. The town on top of a huge cliff-like hill is known for its buildings being constructed of tufo, or volcanic rock. Orvieto is also known for its ceramics. Continue reading “ORVIETO”

After ending my study abroad adventure in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy. My best friend and I decided to spend one more week in Europe before heading back to the US. So we planned a five day trip to Amsterdam! Neither of us had been and being architecture students, we wanted to check out all of the art and architecture there, especially in Rotterdam. Continue reading “AMSTERDAM & ROTTERDAM”
Ciao, I’m back in Italy!
For our Wednesday trip, we visited two nearby towns called Pienza and Montepulciano. Continue reading “PIENZA & MONTEPULCIANO”

This is my first time visiting the Czech Republic and I was in awe! We had only two days in Prague and I wish we had more time!!! This city is so gorgeously preserved in its medieval state, it’s so dreamy. Continue reading “PRAGUE”

After Fashion Week in Milano, a few friends and I made a last minute decision to go to Cinque Terre for the last weekend in September. We booked an Airbnb in La Spezia and used the train to travel to and from each town in Cinque Terre. Each train was about two to 12 minutes long, so it was really quick to hop from each town in one day. Although, there was a train strike that weekend, so it did deter our plans slightly, but we worked around it and got where we needed to be. Continue reading “CINQUE TERRE”
On a day-trip, my study center took us all to Siena for the day to explore the old rival town of Florence. Continue reading “SIENA”
