My first NYFW!!! AHHHH I am so happy! I was invited to attend these shows in my place of my friend, Audra Koch, and I am so happy my school schedule allowed me to travel into Manhattan and attend some of these amazing shows!
My first show was Alessandro Trincone, who is an avant garde designer that is really interested in different silhouettes, textures and appliques. The entire collection had a beautiful pastel color palette that is totally trending at the moment. The over-the-top headwear with feathers, bonnets, and boy caps with feathers on top were so animated while going down the runway. Each piece was very thought through as if it were apart of a story and I truly anticipated each piece as the models walked with drama down the runway.
My outfit for this show was business chic. I paired my plaid coat with some bright yellow trousers, a simple white sweater and black boots. I kept the jewelry classic. I had no idea what to expect when I got there. I was however a little cold waiting in line to enter the venue. I ended up sitting third row with some nice girls and I got really good views for camera shots.

On the weekend, I attended another show, this time however was an international show with Chinese designer Amélie Wang, who makes designer kid clothing and matching outfits for their parents. This was such a cute show!!! Watching all the little kids walk down the runway was so adorable, you can tell which kid was loving the runway and which kid was not having it that day. The clothing was traditional Chinese with a casual flare. It was hard to shoot some photos because the kids were shorter and I sat second row but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. On every seat, there was a small package that had a lovely silk scarf inside as a gift from the show. The show was really really famous for many Chinese people who attended, which I loved watching the cultural fashions and exhibits take place.
My outfit for the show was definitely warmer because the temperature was freezing! I color blocked a lavender puffer and lilac sweater with a nude trouser. I kept the same accessories and shoes from the previous outfit and the makeup and jewelry really classic, but added a bold lipstick.
