Favorite Scarves

It is getting colder outside and I cannot go out without a scarf. I need something to maintain my body heat and protect my neck from the cold wind. My favorite kinds of scarves are the giant blanket scarves! I can wrap them around my neck and still have enough left over to cover my face. During this short photoshoot, it was actually 45 F degrees outside so I was freezing and I’m glad I brought this scarf along!!

For this cozy look, I added a pop of color with this yellow sweater to break up all of the dark clothing. I feel it is so easy to go through the cold season wearing only dark colors and forgot to add some color into our lives. Nothing is wrong with wearing darker clothes because I do very frequently, but every now and then it is fun to add a pop of color. It makes me feel happier and lets me play with different outfit combinations and color blocking opportunities. I look super bundled up here but I was still cold! I will need to invest in a big puffer coat for winter. I’m from the south so it is never this cold for very long, but perhaps I will eventually adjust to the northeastern chill.

I’ve linked some of my favorite scarves that are perfect for fall and winter. Happy shopping and stay warm!

I wore: H&M sweater / H&M coat / COS scarf

My top picks to shop:
