For the month of September, an exciting exhibit was going to be showcased in New York City by artist Simon Huck that questions the body as what it means to be human through explorations in the fashion realm. I luckily got the chance to see this in person and it was an astounding experience in the innovations of science and technology through fashionable pieces worn by live models. There were things I have never witnessed before that were being constructed on the human body as well as mutations and skin pieces that accentuated or morphed the figure on these models. Quite amazing, will 100% go see the next exhibit he does because this is only the SS19 collection! So I am hoping there will be more to come. This event cost money but it was totally worth it. Unfortunately, it is only showing for the month of September, so if you are nearby, try to snatch a ticket before the last day!
Here is my experience below! I wish I took more photos or brought my camera, but I had no idea what I was going to be experiencing. The exhibit is interactive towards the end of the show, but we could not touch any of the models or pieces.
This was an overall thrilling experience and I cannot wait for what the artist creates next! I highly suggest you go before the end of this September!
