This weekend my friends from around the northeast came into NYC to hang out. It was so nice to see them and catch up over the summer. I hung out in Manhattan for the most part, but later my friend and I decided to check out Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The neighborhood is different from where I live in Fort Greene, but it has an artistic hipster vibe and a lot of the buildings are must lower and new. The trains were not working too well so it was hard to get around, but we ended up at A/D/O to see the Elements exhibits where they question urbanity and the people of which live in the city. It is a really neat immersive experience (plus its free!) and I enjoyed getting to interact with the moving columns which we constantly changing your view of the surrounding. I tried to capture some interesting shots.
After, my time was spent with my friends to say goodbye. Since school is starting in a few or two, I will not have so much time to see them or visit. It was quality time well spent and it is so crazy that I moved to an area of the US where I am able to see the majority of my friends because they are all so close to me!
