So I have SO MUCH going on in my life at the moment. My last post on here was in March and I was in New York visiting Pratt Institute as a possible graduate school. Since then, I have graduated College as an Environmental Design student at Texas A&M University and accepted that graduate school offer at Pratt Institute. I am super excited to go to Pratt, I wanted to go here for undergrad but failed to complete the portfolio out of high school. I am from Texas so I am super eager to be in a city environment and finally have something to look at or do on my day-to-day basis. I start school in early August so I am actually going to be moving up to NYC the last week of July. It is so soon, it’s crazy!! This past week I took my family to NYC so they can see the city (it was their first time) and see the school. Our mission that week was to also find an apartment for me that was close to Pratt in Brooklyn. I had quite a few appointments and finally decided on one 3 blocks away! I am so excited to be moving to the city and having a place to myself. There is so much to explore, especially since I am an architecture student there are many buildings and projects going on that I can see in person. I am definitely ready for a change in environment and I’m so happy I chose NYC to be my new home 🙂
Here are some photos of my travels around the city. Bringing my parents was a plus because I ate SO GOOD ALL WEEK! Also I got to see the Murakami Exhibit at the Perrotin Gallery before it left NYC! I was screaming!!!
More updates to come 🙂
