October 22 – 24
This is my first time visiting the Czech Republic and I was in awe! We had only two days in Prague and I wish we had more time!!! This city is so gorgeously preserved in its medieval state, it’s so dreamy.
We took a plane straight from Venice to Prague and started our journey to our cozy Airbnb in central old town. The morning we visited Frank Gehry’s Dancing House, which is the most adorable piece of architecture. It adds a dynamic juxtaposition to the traditional city of Prague. Then, my groups of friends and I headed to the medieval castle on the hill to visit the beautiful St. Vitus Cathedral. The top of the hill offered stunning views of Prague! Afterwards we wandered through the park below, where all the trees were changing colors. It was amazing to actually witness Fall’s beauty (I’m from Texas, we don’t have Fall here haha). Later that evening, we stopped at a small cafe next to the Lennon Wall to have some hot wine and pretzels.
My short time in Prague was well spent. I wish I would have had more time to travel around the Czech Republic. I hope you enjoy the photos!
