Every year the student organization I am apart of, AIAS, throws a huge dance party at the end of the year to celebrate studio coming to an end. It’s called the Beaux Arts Ball and it is the raddest dance party you will ever experience, if you an architect that is…
The theme of this year’s Ball was Great Gatsby. I decided to take on modern twist and wore a sequin top and leather leggings because it is way easier to get down and dance in pants instead of wearing a dress. This top from French Connection fit the theme perfectly, plus it is super comfortable and easy to move around it and I can wear this to other events. I paired it with some leather leggings from ASOS and French Connection booties. My makeup (not pictured) matched my top. I did an ombré coloration of gold, green, and blue starting from the inner corner of my eye outward. I kept the jewelry simple with some stud earrings because my top was practically a piece of jewelry itself.
The dance was amazing and I had the best time. All of my closest friends from architecture were there, the music was great, and everyone dress so beautifully. I could not of asked for a better night.
‘Til next year’s Ball!
