SPRING STRIPES

Hope you guys are having a wonderful Spring Break. My break so far has consisted of sneezing, coughing, and sleeping. The pollen is so bad in Texas, that the air is filled with a yellow haze. I’m trying to stay indoors, but I managed to snap some looks before my allergies exploded. A little makeup and sunglasses go a long way to cover up my itchy eyes.

By the way, these sunnies by Garrett Leight California are to die for. I bought them on my trip to San Fran over the New Year holiday and I have not regretted them since. The blue lens snap off of the black frames for a customized look. I will definitely be wearing these babies through summer time. Since it is officially spring, I brought out my lighter colored tops from the back of my closet, including this one from J. Crew. It’s light-weight to keep me cool in this humidity and blue and white stripes add a classic touch to anything. A trend that I have been noticing this past season is the frayed hem on jeans. J Brand had these ripped ankle jeans with the undone hem that I think are super cool. Jean brands are always finding ways to reinvent the way denim looks and I love it because denim is never boring to wear! There’s a million different styles, colors, and textures out there to try. And last, but not least, I threw on some strappy sandals by Franco Sarto (available at DSW) and my Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. Voilà, my introduction to Spring!

Enjoy the rest of the break, hopefully my allergies will subside so I can continue to enjoy the warmer weather.

xx
