I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and filled your tummies with delicious food. I know I did! But not to worry about extra pounds because the day after the majority of people shop until they drop for Black Friday. Some say, it is the most anticipated shopping day of the year, but I personally think the end of summer deals are wayyyy better. That’s just my opinion, but I did go out shopping today because I never pass up the chance to go look around.
I went for a casual look, adding metalic loafers for pop accent. I sported this beautiful premium leather jacket from Vince I got a year ago at an end of summer sale at Saks. This jacket was original $1,000, but I snagged it for a glorious $250. Yes, that is correct. This jacket was probably the best deal I ever had. I remember spotting this beauty in the spring and realizing there was no way I could afford it and kept dreaming. I kept coming back to Saks every now and then for the next four months to shop other items. During this time, I noticed the price was marked down each time I came back. Then, the end of summer sale happened and it was marked down even more! I decided this price was the lowest this jacket will ever be and bought it. The leather is extremely soft and the nude color goes beautifully with any color combo.
So, the moral of this outfit story is: waiting for prices to go down/on sale is a must, and if the item price is a total steal then make the splurge!
Happy Black Friday shopping and may the prices ever be in your favor.
